KCC Lib Dem Group Leader Trudy Dean today welcomed the election of Nick Clegg as Leader of the Liberal Democrat Party.

She congratulated both candidates on a well fought election and said " I am proud to be a member of a party which can field such a talented top team. With Nick Clegg at the helm and Vince Cable, Ming Campbell, Chris Huhne, and Charles Kennedy we have a powerful top team to rival any other and I look forward to a Happy New Year under Nick's Leadership.'
