Over £1,000 for Children's Charities

The Lib Dem Group held their annually combined Christmas Party and Staff 'Dress Down' Day, at County Hall, to raise money on behalf of the Kent Children's Trust and the BBC Children in Need Appeal on Monday 18th December.

Cllr. Trudy Dean said: "KCC Staff are always extremely generous. This is the first year we have raised over £1,000 and staff not based at County Hall have joined in. A very big thank you to everyone who contributed. This year we collected a total of £1021.00"

Two Terry Wogan, BBC Radio 2 'Terry's Old Geezers' (TOG's) Polo shirts were also auctioned in aid of 'Children In Need'. The TOG's Polo shirts raised £68.00.
